Fountain of Mercy

Engineered and fabricated by Metal Fabrik, the Fountain of Mercy is a freestanding, solar-powered bird feeder fountain for Dubai’s public landscape. Its all-metal construction combines feeding, drinking and water-circulation functions within one sculptural form.

The structure includes a precision-formed circular water tray, central support and raised upper compartment. A dedicated water supply connects to the filtration system, circulation pump and concealed electrical controls. Filtered water rises through the central nozzle, sprays gently and flows into the drinking area. As a result, the water remains in continuous motion and creates the sound of a natural source.

Moreover, the upper tray is divided into separate food and water compartments. This arrangement prevents bird feed from mixing with the circulating water. Meanwhile, the wide lower tray and raised feeding area provide accessible landing, feeding and drinking spaces for birds of different sizes.

The fountain features Metal Fabrik’s handcrafted Corten Rust Patina. Warm rust tones, textured variation and deeper oxidised accents create a naturally weathered appearance. In addition, the curved surfaces and formed edges enhance the finish’s visual depth. Controlled variation gives each unit individual character while maintaining a consistent project identity. Ultimately, careful engineering, precision fabrication and finish development give the Dubai bird feeder fountain reliable performance and a distinctive architectural presence.
